Do you ever feel like life is waving something in your face? Lately it seems like EVERYONE we know is expecting or has just had a baby. While Bryan and I do not have children yet, we are definitely getting some practice in the tiny people department with our Bellies & Babies sessions being booked through the roof. Which brings me to Dan & Melissa!
We've been friends with Dan and Melissa since we moved back from Auburn a few years ago. Melissa was one of the first girls in Bryan's circle of friends, which was nice for me since I was the only "ball and chain" for quite a while. Both are from St. Louis, and got married their last summer. Now they are about to welcome their first child, a little girl! Melissa's due at the end of March, right in time for warm weather, the first flowers of the season, and Dan's spring break from UAH's biology department. Talk about perfect timing!We spent this past Saturday morning shooting Melissa & Dan's "Expecting" session at Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville. We had a gorgeous morning and the park all to ourselves, except for the ducks begging for food. Melissa was definitely a trooper, going up and down stairs, posing all over the park. Since the Hunts don't have a name pinned down yet, I was glad we got to throw something in to get across that girlie vibe with the adorable outfits Melissa brought along.
I have to say, I love the way their images turned out. When little Miss Hunt grows up, I'm sure she's going to love looking back at these and seeing how much affection shows through. Not just between the future parents and their child, but the relationship between Dan and Melissa. We look forward to meeting her in the next few weeks. You're in the bottom of the 9th... good luck in the home stretch, Melissa & Dan!
